My style is a combination of all I've learnt from sketching and spray painting fused with an urban/street art aesthetic. My art is a reflection of my interests and hobbies from movies to music, games, comics, anime and everything in between.

BUDGET BASICS
As commerce students, we think that learning about money is a critical part of the future. We have seen a lack of acknowledgement and understanding of basic skills such as budgeting and how to spend your money wisely. For those who don’t have the knowledge, this results in them being thrown ‘into the deep end in the future as they have to learn to live life by themselves and manage their money the best they can without having learnt the needed skills.

furfrienz
Founded in the coolest little capital, Wellington, our venture began with 2 cavoodles and not finding locally sourced products for everyday use. So, we embarked on creating our own products to share with our FurFrienz. Cosy pet pajamas, warm coats, pet scarves for chilly days out walking or to look cool, snoods to keep long ears out of food bowls, snuffle mats to slow down fast eaters and encourage forging skills, rope toys to enrich and entertain. Our journey continues to this day making new products that are NZ hand-made to help create an everlasting bond with your pet.
GLAES DESIGN
Glæs Design - I am a lampwork (or glass bead) artist based in Naenae. My love of glass began when I was living in Bristol, UK, where I initially started playing around with making jewellery. I particularly loved using lampwork beads, and when I found a little glass studio that offered lessons in how to make them, I couldn’t resist! I have never looked back. The things I love most about working with glass are the vast range of colours available and the smooth, solid weight of the finished bead in my hand.

handmade by katrina
.Handmade by Katrina began in the bedroom of a Newtown flat sparked through the rediscovery of creating beautiful things with one's hands. Katrina has always had a wide range of interests and tastes so it is no surprise that she works with so many different mediums to create her range of products. She is a one woman band with a little help from her friends and family. You can never be too sure what Katrina will do next and you can bet that even she doesn’t know herself! The heart of Handmade by Katrina is the time, energy and love that is put into each piece and the careful consideration of vibrant colour combinations and designs. Handmade by Katrina embodies slow fashion by producing high quality products that are built to last.
HELEN BLAND ART
"Hi I’m Helen, I work as a full time artist from my home studio in Lower Hutt. I love to paint with bright, vibrant colours and draw my inspiration from the beauty of nature and landscapes here in NZ. You can view my art in person at one of the events I attend, or online.
Iridescent ocean shell pens
My specialty is making pens using Paua Shell/ Ocean Shells although I also turn wooden pens, pencils, and fountain pens. In the past, I also turned bowls, clocks platters, and other larger items, however at this time I am just exhibiting pens. The dazzling pen site gives a bit of history as to how I got into making pens.
judith.B Ceramics
I discovered ceramics through an internship while I was studying applied arts at University. I was immediately fascinated by this medium and loved the idea of making something, almost from scratch. Something functional, something people could use, but also something unique that they could feel a connection to.Making with clay is a very soothing process that grounds me and allows me to slow down. Clay can be unpredictable in the way it dries or fires which requires makers to let go and appreciate the surprises coming out of the kiln. The pieces you see on my website are results of my experimentations, inspired by my surroundings.
Junk Art World
I am inspired to create because I love to repurpose what some may look upon as junk or unwanted items and turn them into quirky forms of art such as robots, strange animals or vehicles. I also like to incorporate my electrical skills to light some of them up or make bespoke lamps..
KD One SKINCARE & COSMETICS
"KD One offers an extensive range of natural and organic skincare products, including cosmetics, body care products, and our soothing / medicinal range. During my time as a professional make-up artist, I had seen first-hand how many of the traditional products, formulated with chemicals, could affect the skin. This would range from redness, irritation, extreme dryness, and many other symptoms of distressed skin. For those that suffered from eczema and psoriasis, many traditional products further irritated their conditions. All with plant based ingredients that get desired result."
KNITTY KAT
"Knitty Kat combines two crafts that I love – knitting and polymer clay (and yes I am a cat person too!). I design and handcraft “knitted” earrings, key rings, stitch markers, buttons, and badges/brooches out of high quality light weight polymer clay here locally in Wellington. I have been a crafter/maker my whole life and it has always been a dream of mine to have a wee business selling things that I have made – so here I am! My hope is that you love my creations just as much as I do, Katrina"
line 3d printing
We started 3D printing so we could print miniatures for our tabletop games.
We quickly realised just how many different things a 3D printer could produce and after many orders from friends we decided to open a business so we could share our love of printing and how much fun can be had with it.
LOGAN AND BERRY
"Hi Sharron here, I have always loved to knit and crochet but have not always found the colours I want to work with. Researching natural dyes made me realise how much colour can be found in nature and once I started experimenting I couldn’t stop. Every batch of dye produces slightly different colours making the results unique and magic."

nanas TREASURES
"Nanas Treasures came about when the grandchildren started to arrive. We made a recycled cape for Lily and then Nana Phyl had ideas for jackets and got carried away! So we decided to see how we went selling them. I made a couple of pair of slippers to fill up our first stall and off we went . We have had such a great response! Our jackets and slippers have kept many wee treasures cosy . plumatic
My name is Trudy and I live in Wellington. I source old inner tubes from local bike shops and upcycle them into jewellery for you to wear and enjoy. It's an awesome use of something that usually ends up in the landfill. I make all of my hooks out of sterling silver and cut the tubes by hand into a variety of shapes, mostly feathers and some leaves, tear drops or other shapes. Most of them are hand painted using metallic paint to catch the light as you move.
PODtential
"After 2 hand surgeries in 2022, I wanted to create products that were colourful, but also light to hold and manipulate. I am passionate about recycling and minimising waste, and discovered the perfect product- used coffee pods! sacred soul knots
My journey into the Art of Macrame began when my daughter gifted me a "do it yourself" kit for a mini plant hanger. It was so gorgeous and I soon became addicted to knotting. I love the process of allowing my work to evolve and going with the flow. No two pieces of my work are exactly the same. A mistake made often ends up as a unique new design!
My work is truly for the Wild & Free spirit.
speck design
Speck Design was founded on a love of colour, creativity and a heavy dose of curiosity. Inspired by other makers and a need to create with our hands, the search began for what could be imagined with polymer clay.

sweet as resin art
Hi, my name is Christine and I create everyday items full of colour and vibrancy. Each item is unique and can be customised to suit your decor. Resin is such an amazing material to work with. Colours change and move creating an exclusive one and only product..I love seeing how the design evolves into the end result and get a real satisfaction when I complete a piece and feel the beauty of the colours.

Nature is a soulful connection, this is my journey through that inspiration and art. "
THE WOOLLY SISTERS
"The Woolly Sisters little boutique wool business came about from Lynley’s love of sheep and Carrie’s love of crocheting and knitting. Our mother taught us from an early age how to knit, Crochet and sew. Lynley and Nigel started their Valais Blacknose breed up program on their farm in the Marlborough Sounds region of the South Island NZ. Lynley wanted to do something with the long lush wool, so she started dyeing and felting and progressed from there. Carrie has always loved to crochet which has grown into a passion to create one-of-a-kind throws and blankets.

Superior quality hand poured scented coconut soy candles and scented reed diffusers, handmade with love on the Kapiti Coast, New Zealand.

Wilson Ink Art
I rediscovered my love of drawing during lockdown in early 2020. Having previously worked with paint and coloured pencils, I decided to experiment with a new medium —ink pens— which I found really suited my love of tone and texture. Each artwork is intended to raise a smile and tell a story. I particularly enjoy discussing my designs with customers and hearing how they connect with the content; this can lead to completely new and exciting narratives!
